Terms

These are the terms for buying a quiz from us. We've kept them short. If anything's unclear, email hello@thequizshowco.com.

What you're buying

Each order is one quiz night, made for your venue and your date. It comes as a download link with one file that runs on any laptop, the picture sheets to print and the host answers. It's £10 a quiz, plus £1 for each extra round you add, with no subscription and no minimum. Order one whenever you want one.

Paying

Card payments are taken by Lemon Squeezy, who act as the seller of record for the payment and handle any sales tax. Their terms cover the payment itself. We never see or store your card details. Your date is booked in once your quiz is paid for.

Delivery

A download link for your quiz arrives by email at least a day before your quiz date, as long as you order at least two days ahead. If we ever can't make your date, we'll tell you straight away and you'll get your money back.

Using your quiz

You can use your quiz for quiz nights at the venue named on your order. Please keep your quiz to the pub it was made for: don't resell it, pass it to another venue or put the questions online.

We keep a record of every quiz and where it was played, and check it before we build yours. That only works if quizzes stay with the venue they were made for.

Your logo and details

If you send us a logo, you're confirming you have the right to use it. We only use it to brand your quizzes.

Music

Your venue needs its usual music licence for music played in the pub. In the UK that's TheMusicLicence from PPL PRS.

If something's wrong

We check every answer, but if a question turns out to be wrong, tell us and we'll fix it. On the night, the fair thing is to drop that question for everyone. Our liability for any quiz is limited to what you paid for it.

Changes

We may update these terms as the business grows. The version on this page when you order is the one that applies to that order.

Disagreements

If something goes wrong, talk to us first and we'll do our best to put it right. If we can't settle it that way, it'll be handled under the law of the country where our business is registered.
